Daniel was twenty one when leukemia hit with full force.
A stem cell donation became his lifeline and opened the door to a future he thought he had lost.Seven years later, he is rebuilding that future on his own terms, training as a tattoo artist and turning survival into creative expression.
We are telling Daniel’s story in partnership with DKMS, an organization that fights for exactly these second chances. DKMS builds the global system that connects patients with matching stem cell donors. Their work is rigorous and life critical, identifying matches, supporting families, and enabling the medical procedures that turn hope into survival.
